Principles Of The Arya Samaj
- Of all true knowledge and whatever is known from knowledge, the primary cause is the Highest Lord i.e., GOD.
- GOD is existent, intelligent, and blissful. He is formless, omnipotent, just, kind, unborn, endless, unchangeable, beginningless, unequalled, the support of all, the master of all, fearless, eternal, holy and the creator of the universe. He alone is worthy of worship.
- The VEDAS are the books of all true knowledge. It is the paramount duty of all Aryas to read them, to teach them, to hear them, and to preach them.
- One should always be ready to accept truth and give up untruth.
- Everything should be done according to Dharma, that is after considering what is truth and what is untruth.
- The chief object of the Arya Samaj is to do good to the world, i.e., to promote physical, spiritual and social good of every human being.
- We should treat all with love and justice according to the dictates of Dharma.
- We should dispel ignorance and spread knowledge.
- One should not be content with one’s own welfare alone, but should consider the progress of all as one’s own.
- Everyone is bound in obeying social and all-benefitting rules, but is free in matters pertaining to individual well-being.
आर्यसमाज के नियम व उद्देश्य
- सब सत्यविद्या और जो पदार्थ विद्या से जाने जाते हैं, उन सब का आदिमूल परमेश्वर है।
- ईश्वर सच्चिदानन्द स्वरूप, निराकार, सर्वशक्तिमान्, न्यायकारी, दयालु, अजन्मा, अनन्त, निर्लेप, आज्ञेय, अनुपम, सर्वव्यापक, सर्ववेक्षक, सर्वव्यापाक, सर्वान्तर्यामी, अजर, अमर, अभय, नित्य, पवित्र और सृष्टिकर्त्ता है। उसी की उपासना करनी योग्य है।
- वेद सब सत्यविद्याओं का पुस्तक है। वेद का पढ़ना-पढ़ाना और सुनना-सुनाना सब आर्यों का परम धर्म है।
- सत्य के ग्रहण करने और असत्य को छोड़ने में सदा उद्यत रहना चाहिए।
- सब का धर्मनियम अर्थी सत्य और असत्य का विचार करके करना चाहिए।
- संसार का उपकार करना इस समाज का मुख्य उद्देश्य है अर्थात् शारीरिक, आत्मिक और सामाजिक उन्नति करना।
- अपने स्वदेश, भाषा तथा धर्म की उन्नति करना आर्यों का कर्तव्य है।
- सब मनुष्यों से प्रेम करना और उनकी योग्य सहायता करना।
- अपने परोपकार के लिए अपने आत्मा को जितना हो सके उतना उपकार करना चाहिए।
- किसी भी मनुष्य को अपना धर्म मानने के लिए बाध्य न करना चाहिए, बल्कि मीठे और नम्र वचनों से हितकारी रीति से समझाना चाहिए।
